It offers members the opportunity to describe their education and previous work experience so that they can more easily locate occupations that they are qualified for. LinkedIn also allows members to connect with people who can attest to their work ethic. Unlike other social networking/social media sites, LinkedIn specifically emphasizes that a person should only connect with people who know them in real life.
